Sports To B is corporate events agency that that creates adhoc and turnkey events with the sport of Padel as the focus. Played in teams of two, Padel players are forced to communicate, compromise, and trust one another as they compete together for victory. This makes the sport a unique and effective format for Sports To B accomplish its main objective: helping companies create strong links between their employees and clients, thereby producing fluid, positive and productive relationships.

Problem/Starting Point:

Sebastien, Sports To B's founder has always loved and practiced a variety of sports. Upon initially moving to Spain nearly 20 years ago, Sebastien picked up the sport of Padel, initially as a means to play and stay fit of course, but also to meet new people and build connections with his neighbors. Looking back, he realized that many of his greatest friendships started on the Padel court. As such, when Sebastien felt the calling to create his own business, he was convinced that the same connection he and his friends had shared and benefited from playing Padel could be of use to organizations; both to help teams flourish but also to build qualitative relationships with clients and/or prospects. In order to make things official, he reached out to me to build his new website from-scratch...

Process & Solutions:

Starting with a blank canvas, the first step of the project was to elaborate all content with Sebastien. This is one aspect of creating websites that I love the most - since a website basically is the visual representation of a project/activity/organization, etc., the process of building a website provides a very effective structure/framework to help continue to develop and conceptualize your idea in addition to communicating it clearly and concisely. Once all content was fully established, I produced low-fidelity wireframes that helped us visualize the general flow of information that would appear on the finished website. Then, drawing from the graphic charter that a professional graphic designer created, I produced high-fidelity wireframes aimed at helping us visualize the finished website before getting started on time-consuming web development work. The site is very dynamic and features heaps of special effects and animations as users navigate through the content. Thanks to Webflow's Editor and CMS, Sebastien is also able to modify and update all content appearing on the site on their own quickly and very easily. Integration of the WeGlot plugin allows users to easily toggle between English & French, and Sebastien has full control over all translations. An Elfsite WhatsApp chat widget was also implemented, allowing users to contact Sebastien via WhatsApp directly.
