Founded in 2017, Sororité is an endowment fund that promotes social empowerment and gender equality. With the help of a network of experts and mentors, Sororité accompanies the carriers of artistic projects in the full expression of their potential.

Problem/Starting Point:

Without any online presence whatsoever, the team from Sororité needed a website. Friends of friends led them to the Jehane, an amazingly talented graphic designer who designed the website entirely from-scratch. Once the design was completed however, the team still needed someone to bring the design to life...

Process & Solutions:

I very happily accepted the role of web developer on this project to implement Jehane's designs into Webflow. And in the end, the website truly does feel special. Entering the site is in itself is an experience - users are initially greeted by Sororité's powerful manifesto, wherein each paragraph features a custom background video invoking magic and mystery. Once on the home page, the site more closely ressembles a typical website, but further interaction reveals a plethora of highly sophisticated animations. What's more, thanks to Webflow's Editor and CMS, the team from Sororité are able to modify and update all content that appears on the website entirely on their own.
